Laboratory Testing

This panel screens for the seven most common sexually transmitted diseases to include Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Trichomoniasis, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, HIV 1/2, HSV 1 and 2 (Herpes Simplex Virus 1 and  2).

Legal Paternity (Court Admissible) testing determines whether a man (alleged father) is the biological father of a child. Establishing legal paternity can be used for  child support, child custody, adoption, immigration, right to heir and more.

Non-Legal Paternity (Peace-of-Mind) testing determines whether a man (alleged father) is the biological father of a child. Non-Legal paternity tests do not include court admissible documentation

The Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP) establishes paternity as early as seven weeks into pregnancy. The Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test uses the SNP microarray methodology to determine probability of paternity using a small blood sample from the expecting mother and a standard buccal swab from the alleged father.

Siblingship testing determines whether two or more individuals share commonality through DNA analysis to determine if the individuals are biological sisters or bothers.

Aunt/Uncle (avuncular) DNA testing may be used if the alleged father is unavailable for testing. The alleged father's brother or sister may be tested with the child to determine if there is a biological relationship.

Grandparent testing can be used to determine the likelihood that an alleged grandmother or grandfather is the true biological grandparent of a grandchild. Usually of the alleged father is deceased.
